I had a massive squee moment today…

My romantic suspense A Love to Die For took 1st place in the 2010 ESPAN Page One Contest!

*edit out snoopy dance…no one wants to see that*

I just couldn’t believe it, but it’s renewed my dedication to start subbing the manuscript again. It’s been sitting on the back burner for a while, life and other personalities were just getting in the way. *wink, wink*

It’s Official…

I passed my driver’s test today, so I can officially drive military vehicles under 10,000 pounds which means…

I can drive a HMMWV (Humvee)!

And before you ask…yes, I get excited easily. But I’ll tell you all about my adventures ar AT (annual training) when I get home and have an actual computer.

Duty Calls

For the next 2ish weeks, I’ll be on military duty, so my newly created blog probably won’t see much activity during that time. But who knows, maybe I’ll have internet access–just not counting on it, LOL.

While I’m gone, however, I’ve swapped manuscripts with a writer friend of mine, so hopefully, I’ll have A Love to Die For finished and ready to start subbing at the end of June. It’ll be a push, but I work better under deadlines!
